Needed stuff for work so I stopped by IKEA. TORKAD to hold paper towels. Mounted it to a column to take up less space. VOLMAR with armrests because my old chair was crap and this was at the "As-Is" section for over 30% off.

It's a fun game but I think he's getting on to the fact that there are graphical features of the game that don't work well and weren't optimized for ATI cards, only Nvidia ones.

Finally broke down and got me some weak-rear end console that happens to have a handful of truly excellent games: A bike for a few kilometers commuting every day/drive around town: Radon Skill 6.5 - Hybrid bike with an Alfine 8-speed, mid-range Shimano/Schwalbe stuff for a decent price. 1.5 kg hardened steel, which hopefully keeps my bike from getting stolen. I talked him out of spending $1500+ on a gaming laptop and got him down to under $1000 with decent desktop components. I'm pretty impressed with that watercooling rig in a relatively underventilated case (only exhaust fan is the power supply), after an hour of prime95 stress testing the CPU barely broke 50 degrees C.
