Hell, half this forum loves rat rods, and those are basically a scene consisting of cars emulating the style of old pieces of poo poo, just with more rust and Pabst Blue Ribbon cans.

You can see stress marks where its bolted to the hub, I guess it's some kind of plexiglass and I'd worry about it being able to take the load of the car in a hard corner.
