I too, hate the wii u, because on certain sun kissed days when the gamepad shines darker than night i catch sight of an oily pus-filled monstrosity. It howls back at me as i scream and in its eyes i can see truly it has forgotten the meaning of fun.

Once Target is scrambling to get rid of their excess Wii U stock and drops the price to sub-$150, then, and only then, should you buy a Wii U. As it stands right now, it's just a glorified N64 emulator and Nintendo fans eating up the same bullshit 30MB roms, only this time they're on a fancy disc in a blue case. Sorry - I grew up with Mario and Zelda, too, but Watch_Dogs is where your money should be going.

The thing is the PS4/Xbone have third parties to fill out the lull and are also still in year 1 of launch. The WiiU is in year 2 and it still being this barren is pretty damning. I mean the games are all great and it sold me on a WiiU for 2015 when a price cut hits. But this is not going to help this holiday season at all. Though to be fair the Xbone punting pretty badly may help them get to second place.

i just tried to play a game online of mario kart 8 (my roomates wii u, I wouldnt spend my money on that) and it took 30 minutes organizing everyone through facebook chat and we kept mistyping friend codes

That's $185 extra for you to spend on Watch_Dogs, Titanfall, Assassin's Creed, and every other great, next-gen game that you will not be able to find on Wii U.
