Big game tonight. Could be the last. For the majority of the 2013-2014 season, I watched the Ranger games from home. Sitting on my comfy couch, beer in hand, bag of chips open, often with the GDT open too to see what all you maniacs thought of the game.

But then when the playoffs started, that changed. Some of it was just circumstances, some of it was wanting to experience the game in a social environment with other fans, some of it was just opportunity. But I never watched a full playoff game from home. I watched at friends apartments, at work, at the bar by my house (where I was 7-0 until Monday's game :argh: ), at bars outside MSG, on the jumbotron outside MSG, even one game on my phone.

But never at home. Never on my couch, where I sat night in and night out during the regular season, dreading how the season was going to turn out in the beginning when it wasn't looking so good, and celebrating come January when it looked like they had turned it around and might actually make some noise this year. I never watched a full playoff game from the place where I has spent the whole season with them. But it's time to rectify that.

Today is June 11th. And what am I doing tonight?

I'm staying home, watching the Ranger game. :patriot::911: :patriot:

The Kings completely phoned-in Game 4 and 5 in the 2012 SCF. Except of course for Justin Williams. They admitted they were distracted by Game 4 being a home game and NJ was just good in Game 5. I suspect they are in the right frame of mind, it's going to be an incredible task with Lundy's elimination game stats.

Bad, very bad!
It'd kind of be a shame if this is a sweep, I do think the Rangers deserve better than that. But I also think they should lose.

Eh, go more hockey, the Rangers are my reluctant choice tonight out of reluctant choices all around.

I'm pretty sure that on Carcillo's first shift he would take a run at Dustin Brown, but right before contact he would stop, pull a "Braveheart", give Brown a hug, rip off his Rangers sweater to reveal a Kings sweater and proceed to stab Henrik Lundqvist in the eye.
