I kind of like the artwork in these "old" Nemis, but the joke here's kind of :psyduck: though, because Nemi looks sad.

Edit: Oh poo poo. Yes, it completely makes sense. I read it as "lost in her mobile phone". I am dumb.

How the gently caress can you be so god damned dense that you can't infer what the hell a "Script Doctor" does through the context provided? Oh wait, you married Les even after knowing how horribly attached he is to his dead wife still so I guess that answers that question.

To be honest, this stretch of Mike du Jours with the dog and birds was actually been pretty tolerable, even if it does seem like it's sorta ripping off the Snoopy-and-Woodstock dynamic. Even so, a vast improvement on the usual dreck.

Basically yes, as long as you're generous with the meaning of the term "small-town". The paper in question is also free.

It makes more sense now that I read it properly. I edited my post because, somehow, I thought she was lost in her mobile not "lost her mobile". Even though these strips are apparently old, that joke probably applies more today than ever.

Yeah, I get them from UK's Metro's "e-edition", so I'm a slave to whatever quality they are there. Another CSMT goon mentioned that these are older strips so maybe something in Metro's reproduction is making them blurry. I actually have to use a stand alone screen capture program to get the strips, as the E-edition is some form of funky "flash-like" presentation which renders regular browser based screen capture unusable.
