Like a solid 8/10 action game. And it wasn't like Call of Duty where you were just guided down a tunnel or like that Prince of Persia remake with the headscarf where there was only one path through a level and no backtracking or places to explore. I did have one of my sticks fall apart like that on a MadCatz Gamecube controller a few months ago. I don't know if I'd say it crumbled but it was certainly a piece of poo poo.

Lara couldn't even get decapitated or mamed. It just made it appear more bloody than it really was because of the red blood border that appeared when the screen turned black and white at low health and obscured everything. That river death when she gets implanted in the neck wasn't even a separate rig or anything it was a polygon just going through another poly and facial animations.

I remember wincing when I was a kid playing Tomb Raider 2 and fell into a spike pit for the first time, there's a pretty gross crunch/glug sound while she twitches like a spider. TR2013 was just that in HD. I tried GIS'ing it but it just gave me 10000 versions of TR2013 river spikes, haha.

I was pretty shocked that the voice to Mario was the voice to Paarthurnax in Skyrim. And I was even more shocked that Jennifer Hale voiced Samus Aran in Metroid Prime 1 and 2 and they had entire spoken lines and secret messages on the disc that can heard with a cheat device.
