That's what I thought so at first, but it's not the same as the Adult Swim ending/Adelie rescue scene song. It's similar, almost certainly by the same artist, but it's not actually the same. I've been searching all over and haven't had any luck.

How do you define computer-aided? Like, 3DCG stuff? I'm gonna guess you're talking about stuff like that episode 1 scene with the moving background/Meow & Dandy sliding on a block of stone. Yutaka Nakamura is just that good.

I just started watching this on Hulu and even when I'm not into the jokes it's still worth watching for how great the animation is. Plus I read a bunch of lovely science fiction as a kid and this is like if some Japanese animator took a look at some random covers from those books and wrote a show about each one. I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea though, like I did watch Cowboy Bebop and although it seems sort of similar it's also different in a way that might frustrate some people. The credits sequence is pretty great too, they wrote a song for Hugh Everett!
