So I spent the first ten minutes wondering where the hell the movie tie in was going to fit in. I was hopelessly confused. That said, episode was fantastic. Seeing Micchy trying to build up a little replacement family for himself and literally none of them buying it was nice. It also makes me think he isn't long for this world. If Rat and that other girl had actaully stuck by him I'd think maybe he would be around for another while, but with everyone abandoning him and nothing left to stand with except Reshu I can't see him lasting long. Especially given that the King is stepping up his game and making himself more of a threat, and one that it looks like Gaim will need a team to take on. Having Micchy in the way for the last 10 episodes seems like it'd be more of a distraction than a bonus at this point.

I don't know, I still have this nagging worry that they're going to try and redeem him, which would sour me on the entire thing pretty quickly. I know who the writer is and everything, but that sneaking suspicion is still there at the back of my mind.

That was an insane episode. Superb stuff. Wow. I'm thinking the preview is being extremely deceptive and Takatora is the one who is murdered by Micchy and the Overlords at the last second. But I'm hoping it doesn't happen because Takatora is the best and I want him to be a real player in the plot again.  Then again, that outcome would be too easy, so maybe not? It's tough to say. Since Micchy was deathflagged nine ways to Sunday too.

Basically, Black kills Shadow Moon by slicing through his belt with the Satan Saber. Something we could easily see reproduced here, with Takatora holding his own Saber.

I think that this time I'm actually going to try watching the raw when it streams. Magenta & Caphi are normally very good about avoiding spoilers before the release drops, but with everyone else that I follow chances are I'm going to run facefirst into an untagged spoiler somewhere, so I might as well just watch it and get what I can out of it.

Gaim 36 subs are out: http://aesirsubs.wordpress.com/2014/07/06/kamen-rider-gaim-36/ I am slightly disappointed with the Micchy/Melonbowl arc so far and hows its been handled so far. Part of me acknowledges that this is very much a sidearc to the more important ongoings of the world and the invasion but part of me wants this sidearc to have a cathartic end. Micchy and his dealings have been a very uninteresting and annoying part of the invasion and to see him and his issues with his brother end this way doesn't feel right. I want there to be catharsis. I want Micchy to see what he's done and correct himself. I want him to be a true Kamen rider. This though? the fight on the pier? this isn't what i wanted. That said though, Kaito getting infected? Kouta becoming even more of an inhuman the more he uses Kiwami? Micchy potentially debasing himself and facing his demons? holy poo poo

Haven't seen Black so I don't know about any parallels but at the moment I'm really seeing the next real episode opening with Micchy jumping in to the water to save Takatora and I really, really hope I am wrong about that. I like Takatora and want him to live but not at the expense of Micchy getting a drat redemption arc.

As amusing as soccer antics look, now of all times to have another movie tie-in is a little unfortunate. But I hope Takatora is saved by a whale and returns to finish off Micchy! It'll feel totally wrong if Kouta ends Micchy, since it really isn't his fight.
