INVAR especially seems to have gone off the deep end. The worst part though is that even when the elections this year and in 2016 have passed, Freep will simply believe that either the true Americans scared Obama and his cronies into submission, or that this is all part of his plan and he's just trying to fool the American people. They fight this non-problem like their political lives depend on it, meanwhile millions of perfectly legal latino's take offense to every aspect of it and vote in numbers that would dwarf any real attempt at illegal immigrants voting. It's like black vote suppression but with an even bigger backlash since a completely negligible number of fraud votes are going to get stopped. At least with your garden variety vote suppression there's a chance your new rules tip the scales and a pissed off turnout doesn't show up. Mexican/CentrAm bashing is non-stop and there's no upshot other than goosing racists and assholes.

I mean poo poo after 2012 and the Cochran run-off I'm half expecting Dems in areas without any sort of vote suppression going on to start telling Latino's and blacks the tea party is going to be skulking around polling places trying to get your vote invalidated.
