But William H. Macy did get nominated, at least.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I changed my mind about Tim Allen. I don't want to see him in front of cameras anymore. I'd rather see him die, tbh

Seems to me that it's more common for people to get upset over the idea that other people dare to enjoy a pretty good actress in a pretty good show.

How can Big Bang theory and Modern Family be nominated together with Silicon Valley, Veep, 'Louis' and OitnB? The latter of those shows are so vastly superior to the first two, it's not even funny. If Modern Family wins again that's just more proof that those award shows are bullshit.

Well Modern Family actually has jokes unlike Louie. I consider Orange a drama as well.

I've coined a term that I use to refer to these comedy/drama hybrids, like Ally McBeal. I call them "comamas".

I like Modern Family more than Silicon Valley and Veep, never seen OitnB all the way through. And Louie has been getting less and less funny...not less good, mind you, just less funny

It's not the funniest show category though. Isn't the point of the awards to actually reward the best show in each category? While Orange and Louie aren't pure comedies I think they are much better shows than both Modern Family and Big Bang theory. I liked Modern Family when it started, but I really think it has been becoming pretty boring over the last seasons. It's not worth it to actually get angry about, in my opinion, undeserving shows to get nominated or even winning, but I still rolled my eyes when i see it.

Basically, with Brooklyn 99's snub, the Emmys now have less credibility than the Golden Globes. Think about what that means.

Even if it's hard to pick out favorites among the cast, the show itself should have gotten a nod- it's one of the best and most assured first seasons I've ever seen for a comedy. Of course there are other problems (not even a technical nod for Hannibal.)

That was cool for sure, a nice surprise. Kyle Chandler deserved it. I Ido hope Jon Hamm eventually gets an Emmy for playing Don Draper even if the show isn't as strong as earlier seasons. It's a bit of an always a bridesmaid situation; it kind of sucks for him that Cranston was so reliably stupendous.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cranston lost out to McConaughey this year. Lead actor is kinda stacked this year in his favour. I guess Jon Hamm is kinda happy Mad Men doesn't formally end this year.
