I'm really starting to miss the anime. SHAFT did a drat good job of the voice cast, and they absolutely nailed the Yakuza too. I'm going to miss Ryuu's "BOCHAAAAN!". fakeedit: No wonder I liked his VA so much, he voiced Ikkaku from Bleach

The faces are the best thing about the manga, aside from Marika being a miracle of the universe but Yui is definitely growing on me. I honestly can't bring myself to hate any of the characters in Nisekoi, which is always a plus. Most series' have at least one character I sincerely wish would get hit by a bus but even Claude manages to be entertaining when he makes an appearance.

I just read through all this over the last couple days and I'm not sure why, really. I kind of hate all the cliche anime garbage it throws at me. The fantastic art and reaction images are another reason to keep reading.

Usually the slapstick sidekicks' appearances are gradually reduced as the series go on but we've seen quite a bit of actual character development for both Shuu & Ruri and the great-grandfather chapters provided the first solid foreshadowing besides the other little actions during the series between those two (  ). I'm also mainly following the series to see what progress occurs in the minor characters' relationship as well as to see more of the awesome facial expressions that abound.
