This video of a town meeting in Vassar, Michigan has been all over the internet. There is a closed detention center near the town and a company called Wolverine wants to open it up so 120 children can be housed there while they're processed by immigration. The children will stay on the facility for 3 to 5 weeks. There's a facility in my area that was just revealed to be housing a couple dozen kids and they put in a request for expansion so they could get a couple dozen more, and the neighbors are losing their goddamned minds over it.

We couldn't get the exceptions, so we didn't end up signing it.
