Ron Trongard was abysmal, but he wouldn't escape the first round. Once WWE starts putting more Philadelphia Spectrum & LA Sports Arena shows on the Network, you'll all know the pain. I'd also add David Crockett, Matt Striker, WWE Joey Styles, and Mongo McMichael. Lord Alfred Hayes and Gene Okerlund are among the worst announcers I've heard, but they were very part time Nut Bunnies fucked around with this message at 05:07 on Jul 12, 2014 |

He only lasted a few months, but Caleb Seltzer (ROH color guy while Corino was kayfabe fired) was one of the worst commentators I've ever heard.

When JBL is good, he's good, but when he's bad, I absolutely hate him. I've said this before and I'll say it again, but the problem is when his "gradually getting frustrated with his co-host" gimmick peaks about 2 minutes into the broadcast and never subsides.

Huh, I didn't know Macho Man was considered a bad commentator. For me, he's been consistently one of the highlights of the early Raw episodes. Speaking of Art Donovan, I've been determined to watch King of the Ring '94 in its entirety since reading about him, but unlike most other PPVs, matches from it seem awfully hard to find on YouTube or Dailymotion. I'd rather not subscribe to the WWE Network, but it's looking like that's my only option short of buying a VCR. Tir McDohl posted:Rob Bartlett. It's easy to name lovely commentators, but who do you guys think are the best ones, especially color and not PBP? The three guys who constantly get praise for great PBP commentary are JR, Lance Russell, and Gordon Solie, but the only major color commentor who almost everyone seems to like is WWF Bobby Heenan. For a more recent example, I thought Nigel was pretty drat good in ROH and I even kinda like Corino as his replacement even though he can be terrible at times.

So the WWE just signed KENTA and this is apparently a pretty big deal. However, I know next to nothing about him and I want to get acquainted. Are there any must see matches of his, or even a highlight reel showing the best of what he's done?

In fact nearly all of CM Punk's early WWE offense was just stuff he nicked from KENTA. Daniel Bryan Vs KENTA Low Ki Vs KENTA Kenta Kobashi Vs KENTA He's very good at wrestling.

Paul Heyman was an excellent color guy with JR during that hot minute where King was gone.
