Michigan Stadium is notorious for being terrible at keeping noise in. It doesn't have a second level or anything to reflect the noise back down, it's just one great big shallow bowl. It was even worse before they did some extensive renovations and added a big press box, but even though it's America's biggest stadium, it's not regarded as having a good home-field advantage for Michigan.

They're 3-1 in home games when I'm there. I am the home field advantage. Except against OSU  But yeah it is surprisingly low volume compared to the sheer number of people
