Jimmy absolutely used to do the Carolla-style generalization of people from the middle east as "all terrorists/savages" around 2003-2005, but he has really softened in recent years. He still bashes radical islam, but I've definitely heard him speak more open-minded about it in recent years (such as when that mosque was being built near ground zero or whatever). I'm sure his manager visiting places like Yemen and Afghanistan and relaying what it's like has probably also given Jimmy a more realistic view of what everyday people are like there.

You all are looking at this the wrong way. I will listen to The Anthony Cumia Show the same reason I would listen to radio evangelists or Alex Jones or late night infomericals. When you detach yourself emotionally from the content, it becomes quite fascinating.

When people like Anthony keep repeating "open and honest", is it like one of those ritualistic vibrated buzzwords that just shuts out all logic in the speaker? I've never seen Anthony use that phrase in a sense other than to complain that the world isn't white enough.
