Yeah, Ufotable is adapting the second route as a series and the third route as a movie, so you should be good with those. You'll miss the first route, but it's kinda nothing special. Its main point is to establish the Grail War and that Saber is King Arthur, which you know if you've seen Zero.

The PSP game Red Saber has some real good boobs but she really doesn't show them much, which is p. disappointing because unlike Blue Saber she's like whoooa, nice rack yo.

It adapted the first route of F/SN, which is generally seen as the weakest, but also hamfistedly tried to cram in elements from the other routes. Animation wasn't always that great, either. Had like one good fight scene and the rest was mostly crap. Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (movie by Studio Deen) - Movie version of the second route of F/SN by the same studio. Had better animation, but made serious compromises to squeeze everything into movie-length. Fate/Zero - What you watched, based on a light novel written by Gen Urobuchi, a friend of the original writer of fate. Adapted to anime by Ufotable, who did a much better job than Deen. Fate/Unlimited Codes - Kinda bad fighting game for PS2. Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra CCC - PSP games with a weird story. Kind of similar to the Persona games. Some people like them. Have gotten criticized for some overly fanservicey designs. The first has been officially localized, but CCC hasn't. Upcoming: Fate/Stay Night (ufotable) - The guys who did Fate/Zero are adapting the second route of F/SN into a TV series. Fate: Heaven's Feel (ufotable) - They're also adapting the final route into a movie. This list doesn't even touch on stuff from separate franchises but set in the same universe, like Tsukihime, Kara no Kyoukai, and Mahou Tsukai no Yoru. Yeah, for a while now, Type-Moon's made nothing with porn in it. Their first two VNs just kinda seemed to have the scenes because they were new and that's how you sell VNs in Japan. Now that they're a relatively big name, they don't need to do it anymore. I don't know any Type-Moon fan that unironically likes Nasu's sex scenes. They were always awfully written.

I liked Fate/Zero, but I will admit that like a lot of Fate stuff, it kinda suffers from having an overly literary voice due to being adapted from a book and not altering it enough to fit in a dramatic medium like television.

I loved Fate/Zero, it had some amazing scenes (Basically any scene with Rider in it), but the Fate/Zero thread put me off trying anything else in the series.

There are creepy stuff in the Fate franchise but (a) they are entirely unrelated to what people like, and like to talk about with respect to it, (b) in general are very uninteresting (not to mention awkward and terrible) to discuss beyond 'OH MY, SEX IN MY ANIMES', and (c) are almost certainly entirely absent from this upcoming anime adaptation, which is the only thing that has direct relevance to the topic of this thread.

All this F/SN porn talk is pretty much irrelevant since there is now a patch you can apply based on the non-porn version of F/SN for those weary of that stuff. Also shouldn't this conversation be taken to the Fate/Zero thread? It's pretty much a general Fate/___ thread anyways.

And honestly, Nasu never wanted sex scenes in the first place, but he was forced to write them in because Type-Moon refused to believe people would buy the thing otherwise.
