It's ridiculous how many trope pages about tits and rear end are allowed on an alleged family friendly website. "But that's a not problem anymore more because we got rid of the tits and rear end categories and now the tit tropes are just filed under exclusively female tropes" So just to see how much tropers enjoy twisting their precious tropes so that they can technically place anything as an example I had a look at their 'Tsundere' page. For the most part, in anime-lingo a Tsundere is an emotionally stunted character who acts disgusted or pretends to disapprove of a character they are actually attracted to. Think Helga from Hey Arnold. What does tvtropes have to say about this stock character? tvtropes posted:The term was originally used to describe characters who began with a harsh outgoing personality, but slowly revealed a soft and vulnerable interior over time. Over the years the character archetype has become flanderized, and is now generically associated with a character who flips between the two emotional states at the slightest provocation, and usually at a specific person rather than a general sociability problem. tvtropes posted:Type A (alias Type Tsun or "harsh"): These Tsundere have tsuntsun as their default mood. It takes someone special to trigger their deredere side. tvtropes posted:Type B (alias Type Dere or "sweet"): These Tsundere have deredere as their default mood. They are sweet, kind and generous, but just happen to have a hidden violent side as well. tvtropes posted:Wolf-Girl" Tsundere who can't or won't be honest about her feelings, is quick to judge her love interest (or the main character in a harem comedy) badly, and usually pelts him with violence at the slightest provocation, real or imagined. tvtropes posted:Psychologically, tsundere-like behavior could be an example of "splitting," a maladaptive coping mechanism wherein a person alternately idealizes and undervalues others, including potential romantic partners.

The Anime page has to be the largest hub on all of TV Tropes. I decided to skim some of the stuff in the sub pages because, as you might expect, it's far from cleaned up or fit for families.Awesome: Anime - Other posted:The doujin manga Nami S.O.S. is a Hentai parody of magical girl stories. It focuses on a team of super-powered heroines, but by far the most memorable character is the main girl's Badass Normal brother. In one issue, the girl he's hot for is attacked by a pair of winged tentacle demons and winds up being molested by the two of them in midair. The guy picks up a big pole from I-can't-remember-where and tries to pole vault over to her from the roof of a skyscraper. He falls short and looks to be about to fall to his death, but instead manages to grab some of the beast's dangling tentacles and pull him off her from the force of his own falling through the air. This leads to a bout of fisticuffs in free-fall that ends with the guy using the side of a nearby skyscraper to scrape the demon's skull apart. Meanwhile, the girl polishes off the other beast and arrives just in time to pluck him out of the air and carry him to a safe landing. This being a hentai manga- well, let's just say it's good times for him next issue... quote:Mnemosyne's Rin probably had a lot of these along the way but her true moment of awesomeness happens when she confronts Apos for the final time in the last episode. Having returned from the depths of Yggdrassil, she simply refuses to be affected by Apos' angelic presence (immortals like her are overcome with uncontrollable sexual desire when angels are around) but instead, grows her own wings and makes Apos shiver with paralyzing desire for her, easily kicking his butt. Not only is that scene an awesome turning of the tables but her wings look sooo much prettier than angels'. And that she is nude at that point and hot as ever, doesn't help any. Fridge: Anime - General posted:Why do Action Girl characters almost always wear miniskirts as their choice of lower body covering? Because it's a practical choice for fast-paced combat. A female character who's going to be doing a lot of jumping and dodging isn't going to want her legs to be restricted by a dress or even by pants. Also, a real-life female fighter is going to be too busy kicking rear end to worry about potential Panty Shots. quote:Why are Moe characters usually 16? 16 is the age of consent in Japan. As soon as an irate and towel-clad Sheryl screams after the little thief, all the boys realize the opportunity and a school-wide panty chase begins. Naturally, Sheryl responds by hijacking Luca's EX-Gear and joining the hunt while Going Commando. They literally don't believe that women are people and so have no frame of referance for anything like "empathy" or understanding rational consequences of behavior You correctly state that their attitude is why women don't like them. They believe though that they are the victims- it is because women have mistreated them that they have these attitudes.

While we're talking about angry nerds, here's some more choice quotes from the Dethroning Moment/Web Original pages:quote:ldelavina3: It's no secret that every web animation series has its rough times, small or big. Sonic Shorts is no exception, which brings us to their DMoS to me. The "How To Create Your Own Sonic Fan Character" bit from Volume 6. It pretty much implies that everyone who has made a fan character as lazy, unoriginal people. I know that there are a lot of poorly-made fan characters, but this just feels like a giant middle finger to fan character creators and an unfunny one at that. Oh god, think of the fan characters! Won't somebody think of the fan characters?! quote:fluffything: I like raocow. I find his videos, for the most part, to be very amusing to watch. But, and I may be in the minority here, I find the whole "Raocow dies a lot and gets angry" segment of The Second Reality Project (the 48th part of the LP to be specific) to be a DMOS. Maybe it's just me, but, I don't like seeing "Frustrated and angry Raocow". To me, it's just not funny or entertaining. Sure, it may work for other Let's Players. But, Raocow's appeal is that he says hilariously nonsensical things while playing video games. Not that he gets angry while playing a very difficult part of a rom hack. This person cannot handle people behaving differently, it seems. (Yeah, it might be a bit reaching, but still.) quote:Animeking1108: I like Faulerro's NullMetal Alchemist, but his stabs at Naruto The Abridged Series are even less subtle than LittleKuriboh's. His version of Naruto: The Abridged Movie sounds like bitter fanboy rage. Then in his most recent video, "The Roast Of LittleKuriboh," there's an unfunny bit where Vegeta3986 takes over talking about him pissing on the source material and calling LittleKuriboh a hack, which is basically Seltzer and Friedberg level of parody. Thanks, Faulerro. I was starting to get over your immature nerd rage, but you ruin it again by acting like a douchebag. If you hate Naruto The Abridged Series that much, then ignore it. That's it, I'm done with his videos. I don't think I need to point out the irony in this one, do I? (Not included: eight links to other wiki pages.) quote:Dan The Enigma: I got another one for (Should-Be)Deceased Crab. About 5 years ago, 14-year-old me made a comment on one of his videos because, me being only 14, I figure I'd ask him an honest question about what he said because it sounded familiar to me and I didn't remember what it was originally from. Instead of giving me a straight answer like you'd expect, he absolutely snaps and tells me to kill myself for not knowing what he originally quoted came from. (For those wondering, it was the "But thou must" line from Dragon Warrior that I know now but not back then). But no, he decided to be a complete Jerkass for no reason. DeceasedCrab? More like Douchebag Crab. More hypocrisy on display here, but god, that last line is straight-up cringeworthy. And this isn't even getting into the page on ''Zero Punctuation''.
