So just to see how much tropers enjoy twisting their precious tropes so that they can technically place anything as an example I had a look at their 'Tsundere' page.

For the most part, in anime-lingo a Tsundere is an emotionally stunted character who acts disgusted or pretends to disapprove of a character they are actually attracted to. Think Helga from Hey Arnold. What does tvtropes have to say about this stock character?

The term was originally used to describe characters who began with a harsh outgoing personality, but slowly revealed a soft and vulnerable interior over time. Over the years the character archetype has become flanderized, and is now generically associated with a character who flips between the two emotional states at the slightest provocation, and usually at a specific person rather than a general sociability problem.

So when a a character schizophrenically switches between acting like they are disgusted with a character and acting like they love that character it counts as this trope.

So someone who's haughty or snobby to everyone but that special someone count as this trope

Tragic Past Tsundere: This poor girl has a Dark and Troubled Past that makes understanding her feelings, let alone expressing them highly problematic for everyone, including herself. As such, approaching her is rather delicate, and if she approaches someone else, expect many misunderstandings good or bad. While violence towards the Love Interest is not required, it often occurs.

Here are different motives and ways Tsunderes abuse their love interests. So all characters acting this way count as this trope.

The Anime page has to be the largest hub on all of TV Tropes. I decided to skim some of the stuff in the sub pages because, as you might expect, it's far from cleaned up or fit for families.

The doujin manga Nami S.O.S. is a Hentai parody of magical girl stories. It focuses on a team of super-powered heroines, but by far the most memorable character is the main girl's Badass Normal brother. In one issue, the girl he's hot for is attacked by a pair of winged tentacle demons and winds up being molested by the two of them in midair. The guy picks up a big pole from I-can't-remember-where and tries to pole vault over to her from the roof of a skyscraper. He falls short and looks to be about to fall to his death, but instead manages to grab some of the beast's dangling tentacles and pull him off her from the force of his own falling through the air. This leads to a bout of fisticuffs in free-fall that ends with the guy using the side of a nearby skyscraper to scrape the demon's skull apart. Meanwhile, the girl polishes off the other beast and arrives just in time to pluck him out of the air and carry him to a safe landing. This being a hentai manga- well, let's just say it's good times for him next issue...

It's supposed to be his Start of Darkness more or less but comes across as perfectly horrible.

Actually, that was more due to the fact that nerds around the world are losing interest in free-willed women (perhaps because Abuse Is Okay When It's Female on Male, and they stink) and are looking for companionship in technology instead where their own fetish can be modelled by them In Their Own Image. They are the Real-Life Pygmalion and Galatea.

You are forgetting that real females are also humans with needs. What would they do, then? Get anime characters of their own? Be secluded as second-class citizens once again? Not to mention that not all guys dig girls, preferring, you know guys. That whole WMG is filled to the brim with Double Standard and Unfortunate Implications...

They literally don't believe that women are people and so have no frame of referance for anything like "empathy" or understanding rational consequences of behavior

You correctly state that their attitude is why women don't like them. They believe though that they are the victims- it is because women have mistreated them that they have these attitudes.

EDIT2: A lot of really poor arguments from my detractors here. Let me try to outline the argument:

Part 1:

The Fallout series has always been about letting players decide how they want to play the game.

The Fallout series is set in a world where a lot of things civilized people don't find palatable occur.

In the game, players can decide if they want to participate in these activities, ignore them, or hurt the people who do them. Making these decisions is an important part of characterization--that is, of fleshing out "who" your character is.

Some of the unpalatable things the game allows you to do: sell people into slavery; eat people; kill, for hire or for fun; direct resources away from the neediest people in society; detonate a nuclear bomb and wipe out a peaceful town; poison the water supply.

Some of the unpalatable things NPCs in the game have done: enslave; rape; murder; attempt to commit genocide; perform unethical research on unwilling participants.

Thus, I have established that the game permits all sorts of atrocities and includes characters who have committed an even wider array of atrocities. It follows, therefore, that it is entirely in keeping with the ethos of the game that a player could have access to rape as an action and as part of a play-style.

Part 2:

Another argument raised by my detractors is whether or not I, or anyone, should derive some kind of satisfaction from using such a mechanic.

It is common that people identify with characters in stories and derive satisfaction from seeing them get what's coming to them. This might mean being happy when characters who suffered for a long time finally get a happy ending; it could also mean seeing a bastard finally get punished.

It is also common to see people in this community express delight at brutally murdering or maiming people in the game.

No one here--hopefully--would go out into the world and decapitate someone, even though they might do so with glee while playing Fallout. In response to this, I have never seen anyone take issue.

Thus I believe I am justified in being perplexed as to why it is wrong for me to take delight in the idea of having a female PC do to Cook Cook exactly what he's been doing to the women in the game, especially if my PC identifies with Betsy and Ten of Spades.

In conclusion, it is obvious that you all find rape to be reprehensible--so much so that the idea of it being in the game is anathema. I would ask you to reflect on why you don't similarly find murder, decapitation, slavery, genocide, the infliction of hunger or poverty, animal killing, etc. equally reprehensible. In other words, my detractors are, in many cases, hypocrites. Which is fine, but at least own up to your hypocrisy.
