Yes that chrome bit is replaceable and its in sections at a tidy sum of $417 for all three parts. We've already replaced a lot of them . why is it so hard to avoid parking blocks and curbs.

Too many black cars, someone buy the one in front! The E55 sold today so now we're a monochromatic household.

Only loving Mercedes would chrome plate a drat OEM splitter. Also, lol on the wheelgap and offset. (nice car still)

I have similar issues with my 335is and the M-Sport front bumper. The first week I had the car I was pulling into a parking lot and thought I was pretty far back. *scraaaaaaape* The bumper caught on the bolts holding down the concrete curb stop. I then came to the realization that it wouldn't be the last battle scar. Parking lots with exits that slope down into a gutter are the worst. Slow diagonal driving is required to avoid bumper death. It feels like doing a slow, awkward squat. I originally wanted a front splitter but now I can't fathom dealing with a bumper that is lower. [EDIT]: Figured I could post a picture of my ride. Here it is after some autocrossing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_97dSZb3n_E jink fucked around with this message at 02:18 on Aug 11, 2014 |

One of the awesome things about living in CO is that there are almost no parking blocks anywhere. Because they have to be able to plow the parking lot. Up until my most recent car, every car I have owned has been too low to clear a parking block

My ZHPs MTech II bumper + slightly lower suspension basically makes my bumper a chinese finger trap. I almost ripped it clean off as I reversed out a year or so ago and scratched it good and broke a few plastic welds holding it in place. Luckily some shithead ran a red earlier this year and ripped it clean off and I got a brand new front bumper.

My pride and joy, sadly not on the road right now as I can't afford both full-time school and insurance... Sigh. 1990 Chevrolet Beretta GT, 3.1L MPFI V6 (second generation 60-degree, LH0), 3T40 automatic transmission. 25 years old, 115,000 kilometres on the odometer. Bought by my dad five years before I was born, given to me when I got my license. Zero accidents, zero mechanical issues not attributed to "old GM parts in a barely driven car" like a water pump that eventually gave up and was replaced, an exhaust that eventually gave up and was replaced, and a TCC solenoid that-- you get the idea. Enough yabbering, right? Pictures! Fresh from the driveway. Available in small, medium, and ginormous.

Jesus, that's the nicest Beretta I've ever seen, and I was around when they were new. I had an '89 GT in high school (bright red, 5% tint, cop magnet), and it was a tank. I beat the poo poo out of it, as high school students do, and it just kept going. Got rear ended by a suburban once, no big deal. Then the girl I sold it to managed to kill it in a matter of months. Poor car deserved better. God bless you for keeping one in good shape.
