KozmoNaut posted:drat, I was wondering why her videos stopped. Wheelchair time really, really changes the way you think about things, at least it certainly did for me. My femur only ended up in six or eight pieces though, and it was completely my fault. Can't imagine dealing with worse for something that was largely out of your control. It's all fun and games till somebody screws up and physics takes over, then it becomes incredibly obvious just how much kinetic energy we nonchalantly throw around on a daily basis. Particularly when you meet something like a tree, that doesn't seem like it should be completely stationary but is very much so. I wasn't sure how I felt about Hot Rod Garage, but it's growing on me, especially if it means more Road Kill. It is a little odd to have things not go pear shaped or require hood removal though. V I'd forgotten about that, and now that I think about it they really haven't been hoodless recently it's been more poo poo just doesn't cooperate or they run into other issues. Like rain while driving on almost slicks. drzrma fucked around with this message at 22:39 on Aug 7, 2014 |

I was looking through some Top Gear videos and on this one I found a comment from some quote:GCORE(GC-X1) is a Green CORE Technology natural base oil, design to blend on every petroleum and mineral based engine oil . GCORE GC-X1 is ECO friendly engine oil additives. Innovative bio-degradable engine oil additives. It even extends your battery life! And 400% less maintenance? I think I'm sold! But what if I'm lazy and don't want to change the oil, can I just occasionally add GCore every now and again? Apparently so, and it must be safe because the smoke doesn't come out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toAhAeCNBCw

he hit the throttle because that's how a winged sprint turns easiest due to the huge stagger they run in the tires dude in front of Stewart had to really move to avoid the kid, too never run around a hot dirt track at night is probably the best advice

Extra posted:*insert dumb post about WLAN latency/bitrate that probably doesn't apply here* Latency always applies since a nanosecond is close enough to a light foot for napkin math, doubled in this case due to it affecting both video and control inputs. It isn't much but it does add up, although video processing and reaction time are probably the major factors for anything within line of sight from near ground level.
