The Crew looked really goddamn cool until I watched a ~15 minute gameplay preview and realized that all of these real world locations you can supposedly drive to and race around are just theme parks. Here is the Detroit-themed area, which is a big grungy industrial park with rave lighting in every alley and no recognizable streets or landmarks. Here is the San Francisco-themed area, which has the Golden Gate bridge rising out of a marshy coastal plain  Here is America outside of Detroit, Miami, and San Francisco: *endless rolling hills w/ repeating patterns of barns, corn, and 2-foot deep rivers you can drive right through* edit: oh, and it obviously uses the typical Ubisoft-open-world-game model of mission design, where you burn a Templar tower or whatever in one area, which unlocks twenty indistinquishable checklist missions that only 100% completion spergs bother with Eugene V.
