got a thunderbolt -> hdmi cable for my macbook air now. woo! have it connected to my 24" screen. but, is there a way of making the laptop NOT go into sleep when I close it? but only when the HDMI-thing is connected? EDIT: oh, and is there a way to make my G400 that I have connected to it scroll like scrolling in windows?

ok so I'm getting revved up about my game and I want to make a website about it. I am a budget mother fucke I see amazon offer a year free with their cloud thing and it has prolly enough data for me and thought about using Wordpress to run the blog and jus a couple of links up the top to download maybe terrible idea or atrocious idea? or either way would I have to fork out for a website name? what's the best place to get those

Doctor rear end in a top hat posted:they're good except for the screens. don't get one with an arm processor it would be nice if there was a no compromises one priced 250-300 that had a good screen keyboard and trackpad with intel and 4gb of ram but even the ones that exist are so much better than windows laptops that for a momputer theyre really easy to recommend should mention that them being better than a windows laptop is much more an indictment of windows than praise of chromebooks i think id rather have no computer than a windows computer

i dont really know what they will allow traffic wise but u can put a shitload of static pages up there no problem, just do ur images on imgur or something if u want but u can also put them in git. took a bit of farting around to get the domain working but prett ypainless otherwise https://pages.github.com/
