I haven't played The Walking Dead 2 yet, but judging by the sale image it's safe to assume that the protagonist in season 3 will be that baby, right?

No, you feed that baby to a zombie dog in order to get away from it. Season 2 is much more shock value than season 1.

It's still pretty good though.

(you don't actually feed a baby to a dog to my knowledge, but I'm only on ep 3)

Yeah it's funny that Kirkman's stuff is probably the lamest of the Walking Dead EU. Although the quality of the show and the games have dipped too (well, the shows been dipping for a while now.) I feel like the Walking Dead gets by on pure momentum these days.

You let Raiden knock you into the air with his silly kick, then do the roll while you're still airborne, before you hit the ground. Fallbreaker is pretty lenient.

Now, when you get to the part where the tutorial requires you to do a Max Cancel... :f5h::mad:

It's pretty playable with friends without being able to pull this twitch stuff off, though, as long as you don't plan on going to Evo.

Ooooh, ok. The way they phrase it makes it sound like you're supposed to do the input right as you hit the ground.

It's hardly going to struggle.

From what I understand, it's technically illegal. That's why Dota 2 has it's own special Steam client in China, "operated" by a Chinese publisher, just for that one game.

Why is it illegal? Because its foreign and/or little government control/approval over its contents?

China is very controlling when it comes to communication that it doesn't control.

Millions of people being able to talk via that sounds like it fits that bill.

Online games, as I understand, need approval from the Ministry of Culture and to be operated by a Chinese company. World of Warcraft, to give an example, has gone through vast amounts of bureaucratic chaos and censorship of anything remotely resembling a skeleton or severed head.

Well, yeah, it's not a failure of a game or anything (I assume). I mean, is a steam version likely to get make any more headway?

I don't know what the eastern audience is like for steam, but it's a game that was already on PC a year ago, and is in a language that's probably not widely spoken among steam's userbase. I can't help but think that's probably not going to make for a particularly successful steam release. Not like a disaster or anything, but it just seems like a weird thing to put on steam, and probably won't get much of a boost out of this.

Traditional only means it's probably for Hong Kong/Taiwan, mainland uses Simplified. That being said, is there an English or Simplified Chinese patch? My Traditional sucks, but I'm decent at Simplified.

Dota's random drops are considered gambling so their dota uses a different system. I don't think steam itself is illegal but they have a heavily limited library.

KOEI has given them a lot of pc ports due to the laws heavily restricting console sales.

Koei have done this before because it's probably easier for them to manage updates and stuff. One of the earlier Dynasty Warriors is on Steam in Traditional Chinese but you can't buy it on the store, only in Hong Kong or whatever. The only difference is them letting foreigners buy it this time.

I hope they put out an English version of it, but they won't because they're idiot fuckers.

Big open world to drive/cruse around in. You can 'drive across the USA'. Think TDU with Ubisoft staples (Bad shoe-horned story that constantly reminds you to pay attention to it, looking for a thing that reveals activities to do in the local area, etc). Controls are kinda Arcade with Boatercar, at least that's the feel for the starter cars they want you to use.
It scratches my TDU/Forza Horizon itch.

Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but one of the things that looked neat was how they let you go offroad at any time. In the GB QL of the beta, they managed to skyrim their way partway up a mountain before their car started stalling out. I don't actually care about the racing, but the idea of just being able to drive anywhere without having to stick to the roads is super appealing.
