For a few, brief moments it said the release date was tomorrow. It was a mistake. Also I just recently got into Carpenter Brut and coincidentally one of their tracks is the trailer song. It's a small, violent world.

Especially with how radically different the characters play. That's a thing as well. I hope you can replay levels as any character. God drat I am so hyped up for this.

It's deliberate I'd imagine, as Cactus/Dennis Wedin both said on Twitter that they were satisfied with the level. The Biker levels are the best part of the game though. I hope we'll be able to use him or his playstyle in HLM 2's level editor.

I guess I had fun in HLM when I figured I could just run and gun and now have to slam my head into the wall until I lucked out and got through. At the end it became obvious to me that there was an exact way of having to do something and that totally sucked the fun out of it. Thought I had finally gotten through the game then I get the biker levels. I can't pick up weapons and if I lose my throwing knives I'm pretty much screwed in regard to dudes with guns. Of which there are always more than you have knives. What I'm saying is that by the end the way I had to play the game, or the way the game was making me play, was not how I had fun the rest of it. So I have up, again, in the second biker chapter.
|
# ? Sep 14, 2014 01:15 |

Yeah the biker levels are more "puzzle" orientated than Jacket's levels. You have to pick and choose exactly where to use your knives otherwise you're hosed. It's still pretty boss charging through a room cleaving dudes in half though. I guess it's pretty much the knife but with a bit more range, but the fact you leave such a blood mess in your wake doesn't half make you feel more tank-like.

I was really hoping somebody would've made Biker a playable character for the whole story. It wouldn't make sense but gently caress you I want to throw knives at more people.
