Whenever people bring up squats I always think of that insane story Daivari told, where he decided he wanted to learn from Benoit because of Benoit's rep. So he decides to work out with Benoit, and Benoit used to do something like a few hundred hindu squats regularly. Daivari decides to do it too, and can barely move the next day. When he goes to piss, out comes a bunch of blood, and tissue fiber.

Benoit was a lunatic. In the first Jericho book, he mentions Benoit doing a few hundred squats as a form of self punishment. P. sure he was still in dress clothes while doing the squats too.

I meant when it came to ridiculous exercise regimes. Even Jericho thought that was a crazy thing to do. Benoit was all about his intense and inhuman regimes. When it comes to killing a wife and child, he was a severely battered and beaten up from years of wear and tear, drug addled lunatic.

He also clearly wasn't right in the head. Wasn't there that story from Regal that Benoit invited him over to watch some Japanese wrestling and then when he turned up Benoit chased him off ranting and raving.

Actually, if I remember correctly, he made a rookie do 1000 squats for breaking some dumb lockerroom code, and he did 1000 himself next to him.

Flair's thing was going to the gym, getting on the Stairmaster and using that until a normal person would have exploded into giblets.

Nah, Flair had a really crazy regimen when he was young too, he apparently had incredible cardio. He'd do bets with guys where he'd go running for miles after working a match.

Which goes a long way towards explaining those stories where Flair would go drinking until 7 in the morning, then be at the arena for noon and do a 60 minute draw with Barry Windham.

I think because it looks lovely on WWE to fire a guy for concussions so they probably gave him a job at NXT for something else.
