This thread has been going through a lack of bad photos(or any at all) for the past few days. Let me fix that.

Why? And why are you converting to black and white like that?

I don't really get the first why, as in why take the picture? I liked the motion, and the way the water interacted with the ramp and created a sideways V.

It's in black and white because the structure in the back was heavy on red and green, which also happened to be the colors he was wearing.

There is a bar near me that has an instant camera more or less for anyone to take a photo with. They put the photos up on one of the walls. It's actually really fun.

Is that rule about not posting backs concrete or could I attempt to post pictures I think are decent without a guaranteed probation?

There is a graff thread for your first shot. The second one is meh. It's pretty boring IMO. I guess good use of bokey.

Yes but it's tilted quite a bit.

Well, that's debatable actually...

I really don't think the perspective tilt is intentional.

Jeez, what is this, a landscape thread?

But yes, everything I shoot in vertical orientation has a slight tilt to it due to my (poor) camera handling. I haven't noticed the dip in this one (even now that I look at it it seems obvious).
I just corrected it in LR and must say I like the titled version better, so I will stand by it.
Thanks for the heads up. I do have to be more mindful of the horizons.

There needs to be a 1930's private detective in black and white sitting in the picture.

Please call Frank Miller ASAP.

I usually don't really dig photos of random poo poo without a living thing in them (even though I take them often), but this is really cool. I feel like if I tried to photograph this scene it would look like a table and some chairs. With your photo I feel like James Bond is about to walk on set and pick up some Asian waitress with a doubly racist and sexist name.

These aren't exactly street photography, but they are of a stranger, and as such, should fit here.
