Sweet Moses, I'm about 90 percent surprised. Nice to see Wiggins is still alive and it will be interesting to see what he can do in the spring classics next year.

Hahaha perfect. The thing is, I agree with him that it's weird Switzerland only gets 3 riders but I don't care since him complaining will always be hilarious.

If the 3rd guy you bring has never won a pro race maybe you just live in a garbage country that doesn't deserve more spots.

They sometimes will ride their personal materials, ie lightweight wheels often make an appearance. edit: rebadged gear and blacked out decals are my favourite part of pro-tour bike tech.

I wonder if the Spanish riders with ride against each other and cost them the victory again? Also that greek kit is tight.

It is rather weird, yeah. I hope someone else pitches in at some point, right now it almost seems like a work-to-rule strike by most teams. Here's a pic of the crashed Norwegian car: https://twitter.com/TourDeJose/status/516198214643773441/photo/1 . Quite a lot of broken bones apparently.

The strong teams are going to encourage the negative racing. Germany and Francewant a bunch sprint. Australia and Spain would be happy with a jump on the last climb. If I was Poland's team captain I'd have sat up 30km's ago. None of the other teams want to chase it down and tire the sprint trains out.
