I know the song and the artist. I'm hoping somebody can identify the significance of "Norman, Okla" in Reunion's "Life is a Rock". Looking at the wikipedia page of notable people, the only thing that stands out is that Conway Twitty lived there.

After several minutes of intense google-fu, I have come to the conclusion that it references Norman Dolph, who co-wrote the song and he's from Oklahoma.

AND MY SONG IS...
I'm trying to find a Yes song that was featured, maybe even debuted, in a video game.

Roundabout was in RB3 but that's not the one in looking for. It wasn't a music game. I'm pretty sure it was a newer Yes song which I thought would help narrow it down.

I'm starting to think I imagined this.

Edit: Homeworld (the ladder) from the game Homeworld.

Don't forget there is, also, an actual city that is Norman, OK, which is where the campus of the University of Oklahoma is. Could be Mr. Dolph is also a Sooner.

I'm looking for an orchestral song with a title written in latin that probably means something like light angels heaven crusade etc.

The style is very much like Two Steps from Hell with heavy use of piano, group chanting, 'soft' drums and maybe flute-like instruments. The song started off with a windy sound and chanting leading off to a definite crescendo fairly early on and generally very intense from that point on. Not much is said in terms of lyrics (in English at least) as far as I remember.

The style is definitely like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi5EiCgQKuw

It was Lux Aeterna.

This is gonna be really indistinct.

So there's a song I found on youtube a couple years ago(I think) which I am totally unable to find now. It was a japanese noise sorta deal, quite fast/loud, harsh vocals, and the picture(album cover I'm assuming) used for the video was a few guys in front of a red background wearing vaguely futuristic, mostly white costumes which looked like they were made of plastic with helmets that had... cat ear shapes on top? Because japan, I guess. For some reason when I try to think of the name of it/the group/the album/whatever, the only word that comes to mind is 'Reset' but I don't think that's actually right and it hasn't helped me find it.

I have this memory of hearing David Bowie singing If I Were a Rich Man in that sort of deep echoing voice he uses in Cat People and Deranged. As far as I can tell though he never ever recorded or performed that song. Was it just the opening bars to it as part of another song? Was it someone else I'm remembering that sort if sounds like him? Or did I just have an auditory hallucination or something?

While in a store today I heard a nice song, but my phone had died so I couldn't use Shazam. Female singer, american, an upbeat pop song with a chorus line that sounded like "I'm sure it's love" or "It must be love", pretty well done and seemed like something recent, 2013 or 2014. It may be some big hit but I don't watch tv or listen to the radio either.

It's an old country song, pretty sure loretta lynne sang it. It's good a chorus that has her singing a weird "ooooo-ooooo" melody and a weird slide guitar solo. Lyrics referenced her crying for someone who isn't crying for her

Are you thinking of "Blue," performed by Leann Rimes (originally written for Patsy Cline)?

Sounds like a version of Ennio Morricone's Ecstasy of Gold from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

I was at a gay club on Saturday and they played an upbeat pop/techno song that was probably in Chinese or Korean (definitely not Japanese). The singer (or singers) was male and part of the song was in English. The bridge said something like "don't stop me, baby."

It wasn't the K-pop song "Fantastic Baby" by BIGBANG was it? Saw this on one of the Fine Brothers' many React videos (this one) so it must have some kind of pop culture spread to it, and the repeated catchphrase hook is pretty distinct.

I once saw a book that was a directory of classical music listed with this notation and from what I remember it worked pretty well.
