I'm sad they didn't take the gear, just because I'm curious what the "higher payment" would have been down the road.

Also, it may have been a mistake (although I'd like to talk about it). They get fire whenever they go to Tribal, and while it isn't a guarantee that they'll lose immunity any time soon, it'll probably happen eventually.
