I had someone randomly whisper me with "ちゃっすw". I have no idea what this means, and neither does Google translate. I think that "w" is like the JP form of "lol". I'm assuming that's either gibberish or slang. Anyone here know?

"Chassu"? I guess it's a slang term or abbreviation for something, though I couldn't tell you what. You're right about "w", though. Last time an JP pubby whispered me it was after an Elder, one of the first Super Falz I think, and they called me terrible

If anyone cares, it's a contraction of the overcorrection "konnichi wa desu" (it's supposed to be cute, don't ask me why). Hang around Japanese people and you'll hear similar stuff like "uissu" (heavily cut down shitsurei shimasu) or "attozassu" (arigatou gozaimasu). Incidentally, it's not an internet thing, it's the written approximation of what standard courtesy phrases sound like when you mumble them, usually while avoiding eye contact.

Lots of the autowords for Japanese players are compressed like that. After all, functionally all they are are either rituals or quick info dumps of locations or something. Mine are all set that way too. On the other hand, I have seen all kinds of long weird in-character messages set in autowords.

My friend partner has a bunch of autowords taken straight from the character I named her after. I've even had a few JP players randomly friend me so they could keep using her.

Welp I respecced my Braver out of Katana Combat, thus ensuring I would never play it as a main again, so I could have both stances for my Techer. What the gently caress is wrong with me I can't stop playing Techer even though I love Bouncer and want to play HU now and RA and jesus episode 3 has ruined me I just want more wands  Seriously though I want another grind boost event, grinding up even a 10* when you want to get its latent is tedious as poo poo. And then when you want to do it to your entire palette of wands, and then when you want to start actually leveling their latents...

I just started playing in the last few weeks, but I have (most of) my autowords set to Randy Savage lines, I've gotten nothing but compliments from the few english pubbies I've run into . I do look back and think how easy it would have been to make my character actually Randy Savage... Though I haven't actually played with any goons despite being in Nol Vacancy, but that's mostly because nobody wants to do anything that isn't SH it seems like (I just today unlocked VH).

Don't worry, once you unlock SH you will also not want to play earlier difficulties. (mostly because enemies in SH are a fair bit more aggressive and faster moving which is super cool and fun, realtalk I'd be happy to do VH stuff with people on some of my lower level classes but I'm a ship 5 weirdo so that's not much help for anyone here!!) The one big benefit of Techer mania so far is that I realized how loving garbage the armor I was using for melee classes was and gained nearly 200 HP and shaved off like 40% incoming striking damage by spending only 2.5-3 million or so which is a pretty reasonable price for not feeling compelled to heal every single time I get hit. I hate dealing with ability affixing in this game so dealing with armor is just that elephant in the room I do my best to ignore but jesus, switching to a set of armor that isn't trash is a huge difference.

You could pull out another 200 HP (or 20 PP if that's your thing) with soul+stat+stamina/spirita on each piece of your armor and it really isn't that hard to do. The most annoying part is making your fodder pieces by buying from shops. All the +10% affix booster items you inevitably pile up from +10ing weapons will help with that step, too. If you have access to PSO2es you can farm the bosses on there for chances for Soul Receptor items which make souls transfer with 100% success, helps a lot. Soul Receptors on units also sell for a ton of meseta if it came with the boss soul as well, like Quartz or Mizer.

Wait what, I never paid much attention to es because I was like 'whatever, it's a phone game' and I didn't realize you could actually get things on it for your PSO2 characters  But yeah I have tons of 10% boosters saved up to the point that I started selling them by the dozens before they flooded my storage, and still have a good 40-50 leftover. I'm just impatient when I have to keep going back and forth to pick up new fodder because I hosed up a few more coinflips at Dudu, pretty much

Seeing how this week will be a boost week for XP/RDR/Rare Enemy (100%), I figure now would be the best time to setup Gunne Ginna-Gam Trigger runs. In case you didn't know, the new boss drops units with some great stats. However, they have low drop rates since they are 11 stars. Luckily, using a trigger will always spawn the rare variant which has increased drop rates. Not only that but the crystal will be at max drops when opened so your odds are pretty good with boosts/unit latents. Doing it 12 times will maximize the chances of possibly getting a full set plus any other goodies that might drop. You're going to need 5000 casino coins to buy a trigger. If you've been keeping up with passes, you should be close to that if not already there. If you're short, I and others can help out with rounds of Mesetan Shooter since it's the easiest way to make coins as it's based more on skill and less on luck. Now comes the tricky part of day and time. It would great if we could time it with a round boost, but those are too random and people have stuff to do. For now, I figure this Friday will be a good starting point and we'll move from there. Go ahead and post your interest, what works best for you, and if you have the casino coins for the trigger. Sounds cool, Friday works, and by that time, I'll have enough. The only troubling part is actually getting 12 people together at the same time I think. Like, for me, times after 7PM PST work great, but for people in other time zones, that might be way too late in the day.

Friday is tentative for now since it gives people a frame of reference. The weekend is most ideal as most people should have free time then. Nailing down the time will be the tricky part as we all have things to do and live in different time zones. Just go ahead and post what works best for you. We can iron out the details once we have 12 people on board. The most important thing is getting your hands on the trigger before then. Wouldn't want to stall the run because someone isn't ready yet. If you aren't on the team (NolVacancy), then go ahead and send me a friend request (ID: Shady3011). That way we can coordinate in-game a lot easier.

I'm planning to come one way or another and will try to build up the coins for a trigger. I'm around almost every night after mindnight EST or so, weekday or weekend, but I can't usually show up during the day or late afternoon. Friday night specifically doesnt really work for me either unless it's after 2 or 3 AM est, being that it is friday night and fun things are going on in the real world, though I could do much earlier in the day.

Someone walked into IRC today asking for help with error 606 and a suspended account. Yeah, that someone was me, before anyone asks. I don't know why my account was suspended. I wasn't given any other errors outside of 606, it just happened immediately after I tried to log in long after the weekly maintenance ended. My proxy isn't the issue either; I use WTFast, a paid proxy that I'm very certain isn't public. I've never hacked, and I've bought all my AC legit with WebMoney. I have done nothing wrong. It's really bizarre. Well, while I'm waiting on a reply to my support ticket, I'll have to find something else to do for the next couple of days... If you add me on es I guarantee I'll either have my Tranmizer chip for wrecking desert mobs, my Lisa Chip for all around usefulness, or my 10* Grenade Shell chip for really strong assists set at all times. At least I think it's a strong assist. At the very least, it's another 15-25 FUN you can earn.

This event is really terrible. Not only are the goals really boring and repetitive, the rewards are crap, and since the red team is two high population servers, it's pretty much mathematically impossible for them to not take first place. Just a big, grindy anticlimax to get a huge stacks of Synthesizers on the cheap.
