I'll prob get back on it after DwarfNET is fully functional, which is within days from now unless those ToG assholes add in more features they want to their list of demands. They usually do at the last minute. Problem with all these minigames is having to take into consideration that people might be playing with a gamepad and no mouse. It's a real pain in the rear end. DwarfNET and Character Creation for example are really dependent on mouse for navigating the menus and such, so there is just a lovely D-pad controlled cursor for gamepad players.

One hanoi peg is on a weighted panel and depending on how many cylinders is on that particular peg the water level in a lower room changes.

Don't forget the "you have a 3 liter bucket and a 5 liter bucket, measure out 4 liters," and the St. Ive's riddle. All the puzzles from Die Hard 3, the only source for puzzles you really need. There is a few QTE's with the exception that there is no Q or T part. DwarfNET is now "simmering in" as they've put it. But rest assured, its gonna have it all: opinionated assholes, rants and raves, shitposting, all caps posting, posting in the wrong thread, users getting warnings, users getting banned for a time period, vidcon lore debates, religion debates, politix, ads plastered all over the place for free users, image macros, smileys, people asking for game OSTs, DwarfTube superstars posting about their lets plays and unboxing videos... ... the possibilities are endless, and I have no doubt in my mind that everyone will be super disappointed in it.

You'd really hope they'd wait til it's in late beta and they've start doing the rounds with the gaming press and it'll actually get some attention. Of course I'm more concerned the dork who has $1000 dollars to drop on something like that is going to be terribly unfunny (see the first 75% of this thread) and just ruin the concept entirely. Unless they have great faith in their shitposting abilities I hope they do the right thing and donate it to a suitable imp zone/fyad poster.

Right now the plan is to make it 100% unique garbage that no one wants to read, but I think having a few threads be entirely made up by a generator could also be a thing. I think there was also some kickstarter thing about DwarfNET, so if you see some posts that ask about canon, they are made by kickstarter backers.

I think I'm gonna add in Tower of Hanoi sort of thing in here somewhere. Also, do you recall those block puzzles in SMT Nocturne? I really liked those, mostly because it had a catchy tune in the background.
