Ghostlight posted:Uh, I heartily disagree. Silver Surfer is Planet Caravan or at worst Satriani's incredibly literal Surfing With The Alien. Either is an excellent choice (true story - I bought the album Surfing With The Alien without knowing a thing about who Joe Satriani was simply because it had the Surfer on the cover). "Across the Universe" could work for most space-based heroes, really - though actually, come to think of it I think I like it best for Metron.

Oni has said "ME TOO!!!" with Humble Bundles and it's a doozy. For $15 you get a Sixth Gun volume, Helheim, Stumptown and 2 Scott Pilgrim books. And that's just the start, they always add more. https://www.humblebundle.com/books

zoux posted:Freyja is Thor's mom right? His real mother is Gaea, but he was raised believing it was Frigga who is now calling herself Freyja for some reason. The Thor's mom in the story is the latter. (Although I guess Gaea will likely make an appearance in the story too since she's part of the Allmother trio.)

It's extra confusing because Freya is a modern form of Freyja so that's the same goddess in Norse mythology, but there's also theories that both Freyja and Frigg are the same goddess anyway due to the similarities between them and because Freyja doesn't appear in every tradition. Also: Tubthumping for Iron Man.

I sat in a pizza place listening to two nerds debate that a few months ago, and I'm pretty sure they decided Goku because when he dies he uses the break to train harder and become stronger, but - to paraphrase - when Superman dies he just has a lie down to grow a mullet.
