I've created stations from 100-song playlists from different decades/genres only to watch the loving thing play the same song three times in a row I think it just ignores all but a couple seeds and says welp that's good

i am on the 30day paid spotify trial and its nice b/c i get to be lazy and hear a bunch of rap tracks that i am down with but dont necessarily want to go seek out, but then it keeps loving throwing eminem in even though I HAVE NEVER NOT THUMBS DOWNED EMINEM WHEN HE COMES UP

i was afraid pandora might start getting significantly worse when they changed their process for reviewing independent artist submissions, but apparently a lot of artists still don't make the cut, which is great. the rejected artists then seek out music blog comment sections to complain about how pandora's staff "doesn't know what good music sounds like" and then shamelessly plug their twitter and bandcamp pages

I've never once used the Spotify radio feature even though I have a sub to it, if I want radio it's always one of the excellent soma.fm streaming channels. hth op

Pandora is still the best but you need to consistently thumbs up/down songs and occasionally add artists/songs to the station or it'll get to repeating about 10-20 songs forever
