I have the new Fifth Doctor Adventures stuff lined up once this TV season is over. It still astounds me that we're getting original adventures with the classic cast YEARS after they've left the roles on TV. I mean, for the love of God, I'm excited over the Seven and Melanie releases! My fingers are crossed that someday BBC will tell Big Finish and McGann "Time War. Go."

I would literally lose my poo poo if that happened. McGann would loving kill The Doctor going around the universe in the Time War, trying to remain as distanced as possible from it but still witnessing the horror of it.

McGann would loving kill The Doctor going around the universe in the Time War, trying to remain as distanced as possible from it but still witnessing the horror of it. Considering all the "wink and nod" stuff we've gotten so far, I would not be surprised to see this restriction lifted as we move away from the 50th. What I wouldn't be expecting (but hope for against all hopes) is some War Doctor audios. Y'know what would be hard to do 'right' but would be an interesting thought? Get McGann/Hurt together for a multi-Doctor story. You think 10/11 had disdain for the War Doctor? Imagine 8 meeting him, especially a war-weary 8 (Dark Eyes era) who is already desperately seeking some hope to hold onto. "Y'know that thing you're expending so much energy and stressing about staying out of? Yeah, you eventually give in anyway" I think if enough time passed, we might actually get some War Doctor / Time War audios. However, considering Hurt's age, I don't see it happening. Sadly. edit: Though looking at his wiki page (to find his actual age - 74), seems his father lived until 95. So he's got the genes (potentially) for a longer than average life! Speaking of the Time War I'd like a flashback episode/special with Hurt sometime.

The concept for tonight's episode is really cool and inventive, and after last week's showing I've got high hopes for it.

I hope it uses the story to communicate Flatland-esque dimensional ideas instead of just using it as technobabble.

If this story involves Clara carrying the Doctor around in a tiny box giving instructions it's going to be amazing. "Does this mean I'm you now?" Edit: Oh my God she's running with being the Doctor, fantastic.
