Didn't realize how much I missed the flashes in this comic(altering art styles and all) until I saw the update. And it uses one of my favorite songs from the Cherubim album to boot. I also like that layout transition from the Homosuck to the regular one to and fro again throughout the flash.

The deaths don't really bother me since like some of you are already guessing that this would be the motivator for John to master his retcon powers. Maybe the reason there is no "save game" option on the flash(other than it being a game over screen) is that We/John would have to reload a save from a previous point.

One thought I had, Caliborn is "in control of the narrative" at this point, right? Then John busts in and starts wrecking him and he drops the MSPA trackball. All hell breaks loose in the story and poo poo happens that kind of contradicts Caliborn's origin and Lord English's plans. At the end Caliborn is reaching for the trackball again and maybe he'll be the one to try to undo all this.
