Cross posting to tech support but I'm asking for opinions here too since gently caress it, the more opinions the merrier. Okay guys looking at a new video card now that I have money and I want the most affordable and worthwhile card for the price (looking to drop about $100-115ish). the 30 in 630 pretty much means lovely budget card, so try to plan around avoiding that. I personally use a GTX 750 but finding one in your price range is probably going to be difficult without getting one that's lovely for entirely different reasons. I just wouldn't recommend the exact one I got because it has poo poo cooling and kills itself under full load after only a short while. All I can say is be more careful than I am and shop around for benchmark specs and reviews to see what any given piece of hardware is actually going to do for the money.

Looks good for the price. Make sure your case has the clearance, newegg says it's 6.70" x 4.38". Also, how many watts does your power supply have?

I wish it would say what kind of power connector, if any, it requires. I once had a hangup where I graduated from a card with nothing to a card with a 6 pin connector for the PSU on it, and I had to get a new PSU before the card was useable. It was a pain in the rear end since I couldn't do anything to prevent the problem and not all the cards of the same line required the 6 pin cable anyway.

Unless I'm reading this wrong, it looks like the power supply has a maximum of 300?  Also, when you guys are mentioning size of the tower, are you talking about height or width? Height-wise, it's pretty much empty above it. I put a video on Youtube when I was trying to figure out what the noise was, so that might give a better idea of the size of my unit (lol). I appreciate the help guys I know less than dick about this stuff.

I think 'width' is the relevant measurement for your tower. You want enough clearance between the motherboard and the side of the case for your graphics card to fit.
