Voted with, as usual, no wait whatsoever in the polling place which would be walking distance from my house if these weren't the dismal no-sidewalk-having suburbs. Voted for D's in every race I was familiar with, including for Hank Johnson because I want to keep Guam buoyant. Would do again -- and will when the runoff happens.

My guess is I won't have as much fun as I did in 2012. That year an old white guy made eye contact with me like 100 feet away. He then walked past about 100 black and latino people to ask me if I wanted a Republican voting card. When I said " Oh no but thank you" all the people around me busted out laughing. edit: CHRIS CHRISTIE I MISSED YOU!

Just got done voting in my incredibly rich and republican hometown in central NH. The woman checking off names asked me for a photo id, so I asked her why she didn't ask the three people in front of me for theirs. When she said she did I called her a liar, and she got heated and said she had and I could ask any of them. I told her I didn't need to because I wasn't blind and was watching her specifically because the same thing happened to me two years ago. I then presented my military ID and asked if it passed her rigorous standards. She said nothing but handed it back and said she didn't think it was very nice that I called her a liar, to which I responded that I didn't think voter discrimination was very nice either. I got a little warm feeling in my bosom when she checked my name off so hard that her pencil broke.

Just got back from voting in the heart of Madison's campus. I was #57 at the Memorial Library, a bit lower than I expected it to be for such a heavily student area. There wasn't a line. Hoping turnout picks up later on in the day. I am going to be so unbelievably angry if Walker manages to get re-elected.

The only two polling places I've ever seen have been an elementary school (worked there in fall 2010, wasn't old enough to vote yet) and a banquet hall in my university's dining commons (2012). Other than that I've been mailing in starting this year.
