Epcot is great because of all the weird poo poo they have, like an animatronic Ellen Degeneres fighting dinosaurs, or used to have, like Martin Short describing his own conception by saying "Another way that mature adults can express there love for each other, is to get so close that the man's sperm actually enters the woman's body."

Also if you want to go to a place that is similar to Playland, but doesn't have that big of a deathcount go to Kennywood some time. Really old school place with 3 really really good wooden coasters that all start out on a drop because they built them well with the topography. Really good food too. Lot of history, its only one of two parks that is a historical landmark (the other being Playland) so yeah suck on that Cedar Point, you overrated expensive piece of poo poo park in a town which shares its name with a child molester.

Sweet LP guys. Throwing my hat in for the contest. Hopefully it isn't too late. Pantalones The Hedgehog The only male hedgehog to actually wear pants in the sonic universe. He is very shy and withdrawn but actually secretly hates all the other dude hedgehogs for not wearing pants. The fact that all the girls seem to be wearing some sort of bottoms makes all the male hedgehogs creepier. His pants give him the super power of shame. Also resents Sonic cause everyone thinks he's copying Sonic when he was the first one ever to wear red shoeS IT WAS SONIC WHO COPIED HIM gently caress YOU PUT ON SOME PANTS!!!1

I remember being so excited to go to Epcot as a kid, specifically to go to Spaceship Earth, just because its name was Spaceship Earth and I knew that had to equal amazing space themed thrill times. Turns out it's just a boring rear end ride that talks about the history of man and communication (with not-so-subtle advertising from AT&T). The thing I remember most about Universal though is the Back to the Future ride, which I loved, but my dad hated because he'd end up whacking his head into the sides of the little Delorean they stuffed you in when the ride started moving. Oh, and regarding Sonic, are you gonna edit your Last Story video(s?) MassRafTer or are you gonna make Hulkamatt suffer through the entire End Of The World?

I just started watching the backlog of this LP. The scene where Mephiles grows out of Shadow's shadow...and then after the next cut everyone's shadow is cast in a different direction

My family went to Florida when I was eight. We didn't go to the main part of Disney World itself, just Epcot.  I don't remember it very well.I DO remember Universal, because it had the Nickelodeon part, which was SO COOL to 8-year-old me! The E.T. ride had a thing where you tell them your name at the beginning of the line, so that E.T. can say it at the end. They somehow botched my name into a vaguely similar weird-rear end old lady name that became my nickname among the family to this very day. Uh, anyway, this game. Wow, I forgot how terrible Shadow's ending is. Do they explain the rings on his wrist thing at all? If taking them off gives him immense power, why the hell didn't he do that earlier in this intense battle against the destruction of the world or whatever?? ALL HAIL SHAAAA-DOW is awful, but in the best way. I'm glad Crush 40 was represented in this game.

This game has the worst loving scene transitions. I'm watching part 34 and it starts with Sonic leaping onto an airship thing leaving its hangar, then cut to a/its(?) cockpit with alarms blaring and Eggman ranting as Sonic watches, then cut to outside and Eggman getting into his Eggwyvern mech. There is literally no sense of place when you omit any kind of transitions, god drat this is just bad directing. I guess I'm forced to assume Sonic battled his way to Eggman...and then they somehow escaped the ship and Eggman got into his boss mech? And earlier in the LP when you were joking about a stealth/escort mission when Amy ran into the princess in a secret base and then cut to the streets with 'thanks for rescuing me'. You couldn't even add a 3 second scene of them MOVING QUICKLY? Since I'm not the guy playing this mess, the awful cutscene direction bugs me way more than the gameplay. Well, the rings are two of the Chaos Rings from the hit Sega 32X game Knuckles Chaotix. Removing them allows Shadow to harness the pure energy of splitting Hydrogen, of which there is plenty in the air. This creates the...glowy...yellow...uh...energy? around him once he's taken them off. Each Or the writers are lazy. One of the two.

Well, there was evidence earlier in the thread that they cut a lot of intended things from the final game, so perhaps they also even cut a bunch of things like that too. Maybe if they returned to the old code and fixed up everything to a final version instead of what appears to be "super early draft DON'T SHIP" then maybe this could be an enjoyable game. Maybe.

The story I heard is that they had a later build with improvements over the released version, but that had a common crash they couldn't fix, so they had to release an earlier but mostly stable version to meet the release date. No idea how true that actually is though.

I love the guy who sits with his head on the table, either despondent or drunk. If I recall, some children are sitting with him, clearly not receiving any attention. Can you pick up the barrels and gently move them farther away from the robots, or do they explode if you so much as look at them? You don't even get an "oh no, you failed!" message. I guess because that would be "oh my god the loving world is going to end now."

I'm actually impressed they managed to cut to black the second the barrels broke. I expected the barrels to just have a wimpy, crate-esque explosion and the mission would just continue as normal for another second or two until the game realized the failure conditions were met and kicks you to the loading screen.

 Jeremy the Mechhog (c) Jeremy the Mechhog (c) is a hedgehog who lives in the future, he is the best battle mech pilot in the entire inner sphere and his mech can run faster than Sonic AND shoot missiles and lasers, something that Sonic can't. Sometimes Jeremy just likes to relax and watch the sonic cartoon (SatAM) on TV because it's the best. His other interests are video games and anime. He also has a cat. You doubt a game having DLC when in 2014 a Call of Duty game has a season pass almost as much as the game itself and a promotion for Smash Bros where you get Mewtwo free if you register the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game.
