GUNDAM!!!
Maybe Merlyn somehow got to Roy. Roy agreed to help him by killing Sara in order to facilitate getting Thea back to the city or something. Maybe he is a crazy psycho ex!

Thinking back on it, Roy having something to do with Sara's death isn't too surprising. After all, considering that Manu Bennett neither confirmed nor denied that he was coming back for season 3, using "maybe the mirakuru cure didn't work as well as we thought" is definitely a set up for Slade to breakout of Lian Yu and a return to Starling (either as a villain or anti-hero or ARGUS merc).

Also, you'd probably want someone to go toe-to-toe with Merlyn as well, and god knows Oliver can't do that. :v:

I'm hoping someone at WB is smart enough to bring Manu over to the films for the Suicide Squad flick.

Did Roy have a flashback and kill Sara? I'm having a hard time believing that he did, but then how would he know about the scene in the first place?

Is there some kind of DC villain that can plant false memories into people? Is it possible that the League of Assassins brainwashed Roy, because it still seems like Ras was the one that put out the hit on Sara.

There's Dr (Hugo) Strange who uses hypnosis to implant memories and extract information.

Creating false memories in a character is less a specific villain power and more like supervillainy 101.

When Roy got Mirakurururu'd by Brother Blood, Roy said, "If you stick that in me, I'll kill you." Blood replied, "No, Brother Roy. You'll kill for me." Maybe it has some kind of mind control properties that Blood knew about? Because injecting Roy makes no sense otherwise.

Yeah all the people injected become immediately loyal to blood and through him Slade. It is possible he has a trigger.

So Brandon Routh is getting a suit too... I know they hinted at Palmer being involved with Team Arrow somehow but I had always assumed he wasn't going to get into superhero garb.

He was still working the kinks out of the formula and trying to create another success.

Also, Roy was a loose end that needed tying up. Either result (death or obedience) was preferable to having a leak.

I could see Slade getting out of prison being the last scene of the season.

So Roy may or may not have killed Sara, and Laurel definitely wants to kill whoever murdered her sister. Hmmm...

Also, I wonder what Merlyn is up too, since he did follow Thea back to the city? Despite him saying that it wouldn't make sense for him to kill Sara, I suppose it is possible he has a hand in it, though I don't really see a strong motivation for it.

Yeah, this was kind of the B plot for this episode, with her and Ollie dancing around the fact that Merlyn is still in her life.

Also can I say that Thea's new 'do is really cute/hot? I guess I have a thing for bob-like cuts. :swoon:

It'll end with him hugging his daughter, giving Ollie a handshake, and being escorted to prison...at which point Waller will kill the guards in the truck and whisk him away to be a part of her crew..

He and Slade will high five each other, give the spartan forearm handshake and then proceed to take over a country.

Yeah, but I think he has another thread working there as well.

When/if Thea finds out that her brother is the Arrow, how is that going to work out for Merlyn? He convinced Thea to come with him by leaning on the fact that everybody else is always lying to her, but when she finds out that Merlyn knows about her brother and just chose not to tell her, I can't see that going well. CW drama 101.

I wonder if the end result with be Thea (Speedy) replacing Roy as Ollie's sidekick?
