Wasn't Jotaro treated as largely invincible in part 4 so long as his enemy was "in range"? I only recall one instance of someone being cocky enough to walk up to Jotaro and he got a face full of Ora for his trouble.

Only Kira did that and Jotaro was already loving half dead from having Sheer Heart Attack exploded in his face so Kira thought it'd be a good idea to get into his face and make fun of him and got hosed hard for it.

There's 10 fights in Part 2 before DIO, so at 2 episodes per fight, and 4 for DIO, that puts us at a solid 24 episodes.
