I never read the comics but you guys have talked about it so much that I freaked out when he did the boxing glove arrow. This is my favorite comic book show, but I will say that Flash is Warner Brothers apology for Smallville. Also, Gotham is terrible and Shield is pretty good now.

Gotham is getting better now too. It's starting to find it's legs, and while there are a few duds (looking at you Barbara) the last few episodes have been pretty compelling.

Ahh, that's what I had thought, originally. That he was her adopted dad, but still in the family. I looked it up on the wiki for a quick second to double check but couldn't find confirmation and didn't want to seem like a comic noob.  He was her uncle ben. There are so many loving retcons.
