Dude my mom is a very smart, capable woman. She has a double BA, two seperate MAs and has been a college professor for nearly 30 years. So the other day the European Space Agency landed a probe on an asteroid. Ignoring the scientific feat to accomplish that, people seem more interested in sharing their opinions on one of the guy's dumb anime shirts they wore during the landing. "SJWs" are upset that the shirt is "preventing women from entering the field" and supposedly the social media pressure on the guy (allegedly in the form of "harassing tweets") resulted in the ESA guy tearfully apologizing for wearing the shirt etc. This in turn has set off some people to start a spree of posts bitching about SJWs, feminists, etc.  http://imgur.com/gallery/hSSVQEX There is a lot more to post but you get the idea.

I just witnessed some Facebook awkwardness. One of my Facebook friend's grandmother passed away, and the way her mom chose to notify family was posting a Facebook status and tagging everyone in it. How hard is it to pick up a phone? Or at the very least make it a private message or email if you're too big of a wreck to talk about it? When my grandfather died if I'd found out about it via Facebook I'd be pissed.
