I think the general consensus was to link huge gifs like those since they would crash most browsers. Posting the gif/gifv size for each one would be a big help though.

GIFs are huge and inefficient. Newer filetypes are more efficient/about as good (webm, gifv), but not as quick to make. Longer GIFs can go from 10-40MB depending on their size. So, uh, RAM. ...and poo poo.

Chrome, Firefox... both slow to uselessness if I have one page with 50 GIFs on it. However, if I open each individually in new tabs and close them after the browser will run fine. I can get the gfy file sizes if people want me to do that at least. Edit: Just the post of Raiders\Chiefs game is about 50MB linked instead of embedded.
