I live in a poorer neighborhood and there are a number of shops around me carrying Nike, Timberland, and other shoes similar to those... is there any reason I should be concerned about buying shoes from them? I need some boots and wouldn't mind buying someplace local.

They sell that to thugs who will beat you for your high-tops and phone.

Why did the porn site Bookworm Bitches rename itself years ago to Naughty Bookworms? Some confusing sense of respect for their workers?

I'm trying to find the name of videos my Kindergarten class watched in 1995. It was in multiple sessions but all centered on the same themes, so it may have actually been a movie that was split up. Anyway. It was meant to teach the alphabet. I'm 85% sure it was puppetry but it could have been a cartoon. The most memorable thing about it was that it had a sort of noir/detective feel, like they were solving some mystery that involved letters. That could have just been one segment/episode but I'm fairly certain the whole thing was like that. I've already tried googling some related terms and come up with nothing, but your google fu might be stronger than mine.

Thought about making this one's own thread but: are there any goddamn "male enhancement products" that actually work? And obviously by work I simply mean give you hard-ons quickly and easily, not some fantastical enlargement bs. If anyone has some experience with something good, it'd be wonderful. So much of the high-rated ones on Amazon have clearly fake reviews and it's hard to know where to go. There were some sellers on Amazon that sold what I'm almost 100% positive was legit Viagra online but can't seem to find any of that anymore. I'll keep looking. Alternatively, anyone in their 20s gone to their doctor for ED problems?

They're all the placebo effect man, except Viagra and other stuff that's actual prescription medication. You're probably gonna want to talk to a therapist to fix your issues.

So much of the high-rated ones on Amazon have clearly fake reviews and it's hard to know where to go. In the 90s, I did a medical lab study for a next-gen Viagra called apomorphine. It absolutely works, with two drawbacks: it is an opiate so you'll be high and drowsy while erect; and, maybe because of this, it never made it to market as an erectile dysfunction aid. You could maybe pick it up from some shady Chinese website or have your doctor prescribe it off-label, but by far the best option is to get a prescription for Viagra from your doctor. Amy particular reason you can't do this?

Want your mind blown? Wholesale cost for Viagra is $22/pill and is not covered under any insurance. Edit: wikipedia--- United States In 1992 Pfizer filed a patent covering the substance sildenafil and its use to treat cardiovascular diseases.[63] This patent was published in 1993 and expired in 2012. In 1994 Pfizer filed a patent covering the use of sildenafil to treat erectile dysfunction.[64] This patent was published in 2002 and will expire in 2019. Teva sued to have the latter patent invalidated, but Pfizer prevailed in an August 2011 federal district court case.[65] c0ldfuse fucked around with this message at 04:13 on Nov 20, 2014 |

How come when AA or AAA batteries run out of juice you can often get a little bit more time out of them by just taking them out of the device and putting them back in? That doesn't seem like it should work

Torka posted:How come when AA or AAA batteries run out of juice you can often get a little bit more time out of them by just taking them out of the device and putting them back in? While a current is flowing through a battery, hydrogen bubbles form on the surface of the anode. This is called Polarization. It’s important to note that batteries don’t just run out of energy suddenly, instead they gradually lose their charge until they become useless. When you remove the batteries from whatever device they’re in, the Polarization stops and the hydrogen bubbles on the anode dissipate. This allows for better conductive contact with the circuit when you re-insert them. This doesn't last long because most devices are not designed to work below a certain voltage, so when the device detects an excessively low voltage it will turn itself off.

This. At your age, it's probably psychological issues, which is not my way of saying "lol stop being a baby its all in your head" - it's very real, and it's lovely, and I'm sorry you're having those issues. I've been there, actually, temporarily. If you want some pills then see a doctor, but if you can think of any messed up stuff in your past that may be blocking your sex drive, work it out, talk to friends, if you can afford it see a therapist. There's nothing unhealthy about seeing a therapist.

The best advice I can give someone paintballing is don't be afraid to move forward and throw some paint down the lanes. Remember that if you're doing it recreationally you can almost dodge the paintballs at 30 yards. Everyone wants to hide when they see they're being shot at which means you can throw some paint their way and then move forward quickly. Whenever you get into a bunker make sure you look around on all sides and know where you can get flanked or picked off from another bunker. Moving forward quickly then laying quiet for awhile can be a great technique to screw with people too. Everyone runs to a bunker and hides for the first few moments so sprint like the wind and wait a few minutes identifying where paintballs are coming from then shoot people up who are unaware you're that close (or wait for them to move up past you and hit them from behind).
