I AM CARVALLO posted:The first match I played shortly after release last night worked great. Done about 5 online matches since then and they have all had horrendous lag. Spectating works fine though. I've only had one out of 6 that was bad, and even then it was only for the first 30-60 seconds. Had a decent time playing 4-player against pubbies and did pretty well with two 1st's, one 2nd, one 3rd. Then went 1v1 and only did 20% damage to the guy, and that was on the second stock. Holy.

Probably takes only one person with a lovely connection to ruin it for the other three, unfortunately. At least this time, you don't have to worry about people playing on McDonald's wifi and poo poo like that. I've had OK luck so far, but most of the matches would get occasional little micro-lag jitters that really threw off my momentum.

I don't want an adapter because I don't like the gamecube controller better than the other control schemes.  E: I played brawl exclusively with Wiimote-Nunchuck and it was good

I found an adapter but I'm gonna try it with the normal Wii U controllers first. My old wavebirds and other GC controllers are seriously on their last legs.

Pick yer favourite: Ridley, Roy, Mewtwo, Ganondorf with sword, F zero driver, Space Animal, Isaac, Lloyd, Waddle Dee, Kirby with Powers from his own games, Impa, Skull Kid, King K. Rool, Dixie Kong, Any of the other Kongs, Daisy, Toad, Andy or Sammy from advance wars, Midna, Geno, Mallow, Someone from one of the numerous awful GCN Card RPGs, and a hundred more I cant even remember that have "Technically been in a game on a Nintendo Console". e: Special mention of the loving trainwreck of design that is Wa Luigi

I might just collect data for 20 matches in a row and use this to pump up my coin total since I don't feel like going through classic allstar and smash-whatever with every character again so soon, but I want coins to try out the new Orders and use in the Trophy Shop.

Yeah, up to three times. And since everyone just got the game, a ton of matches are all 0% win total, x10 to bet. And you get repeat matches a lot since it's only been out less than a day.
