I was checking out the sales on some action games (DMC4 & DMC3 bundle for 6,99€, nice) and I found this thing, MARLOWE BRIGGS and the MASK OF DEATH: http://store.steampowered.com/app/249680/ It looks like some sort of gloriously insane blaxploitation flick turned into a hack and slash game. Has anyone of you guys played this? Is it any good? I mean, I'm probably still going to buy it considering it's literally just 99 cents.

It's pretty good, it's basically a God of War clone but it is very fun. I mean 99 cents? You can't go any wrong with it.

It plays like a budget God of War clone, but it doesn't take itself seriously so it ends up being fun.

To be really tanky in the game you'll want to get whatever prereqs you need for Dermal Sheath and put money into the cyber implants that make energy regen faster and make Dermal Sheath more efficient. What. You are a saint and a scholar.

Well I was wondering whether to get Mordor for on Amazon or pick up a few other games for cheaper on Steam sale, but now Amazon's got Mordor listed as "unavailable". Guess they ran out of codes. Simplifies the decision at least.

This means that chances are that your left stick will move the camera along all the wrong axes, and you'll only be able to run using your analogue triggers.

It has, at best, average visuals, animations, combat, puzzles, and platforming (fun, if limited, voice acting though) but for $1, or even the... $5 I think I got it for, its a decent brawler that I hope gets a sequel, even if its more of the same average-ness.

The Lone Dark has already been worth my $10. It's good, tense stuff, with a hefty serving of desperation! But it feels great when you set out on a desperate last trek, knowing full well you won't have enough food or stamina to make it back, and you happen upon just enough shreds to keep you alive for another night

Is there anything wrong with the PC port of Arkham Origins? I remember earlier in the thread, there was mention of bugs with one of the fast travel locations, and some weird issues with combat.

Awesome! posted:death skid marks is cool Yeah, I bought it the other day and it refuses to run. As a matter of fact, it's the only game I've ever bought on Steam that just flat out refuses to run. Apparently I'm not the only one it's happening to and the devs are looking into it, but that was money I could have put into something else.

Rookersh posted:The major ( crashing, gamebreaking bugs ), got patched across all platforms. Now it just has dumb glitch bugs. They did completely move on from the game though so if you're in the (now minority) of players who do suffer a particular glitch like falling through the floor of the Alibi Club and getting stuck, there is pretty much no chance of it being fixed. I really enjoyed the game though it was the least good of the Arkham Games (different developer so no surprise there) and it does a great job of scratching the itch for more Arkham gameplay, and it has some truly stellar moments. At a discount it's a no-brainer to buy because you're going to get dozens of hours of gameplay out of it.

Yo goons, starting up a few rounds of Fibbage/Drawful. You want in, it's free. http://www.hitbox.tv/seayonkers?key=pRwYAMsZ Go here, see the room code. Then go to jackbox.tv and enter that room code. Leave the stream open so you can see the questions. Dick picks welcome. I'll leave it open until the lobby is full/10 minutes, so come fast for goony poo poo! e: This'll be going nonstop for about an hour, and I imagine people will drop in/out, so keep checking the game for spaces/seeing how dumb this game is.
