If you're lockeing then there's no reason to risk Toxicshock. Sleep Powder at any given opportunity is a must. Also if you can get rid of Cut at any point then get Dazzling Gleam on it (I think it still gets that?)

E: ^ Impostor happens after both of the switches, I believe. The TM comes a bit later, but it's gonna end up with that, Sunny Day, Solar Beam, and Sleep Powder as its final set once I get around to acquiring all those, I think, because SB is ludicrously strong for the water gym and clorophyl keeps it ahead of some of the faster crap later in the game. Ok, so if I knock out groudon and fight it again after the elite 4 will its ivs/nature reset? The unskippable cutscene stuff is too long the first time around.

Yes, everything is re-generated for the new fight. You could also use a Synchronize pokemon for the first fight, but that doesn't help IVs.

Thanks, actually ended up getting an almost perfect adamant one on my second try, 29-31 on everything except mediocre 18-19 special defense (I was using synchronize).

What am I supposed to do after the elite four? I was watching tv and clicking through and it was something about a space launch, and I went to slateport and was told to go to where I first met wallace. I don't remember I thought it was in a cave on a bridge but the only cave I can think of is meteor falls and he's not here, and my tickets won't get me on the SS boat or the rocketship so I'm stuck. I'm completely stuck in a game for children because I didn't read.

So Ubers is officially now a real tier, as opposed to a banlist tier. Instead, a new banlist tier, called "Anything Goes", has been created to hold things banned from Ubers; Mega Rayquaza has already been banned from Ubers and relegated to that new tier. Personally, I find it more heinous that despite all the weird historical tiers and gimmicks, Smogon hasn't brought back the 200 play meta in honor of the Hoenn remakes.

If nothing happens there, try Rustboro, and then the cave north of Dewford Town.

There should be more Poison combinations. And a Poison legendary not called Arceus, it's way overdue. Fairy gets a cover legendary in its debut generation but Poison has been around since Gen 1 without one, what the hell.

Were the original R/S games this short? I blew through it in about 15 hours. I somehow remember X/Y taking me much, much longer. I understand there's a ton of postgame stuff to do and roughly a trillion legendaries to catch but it seemed disappointingly short
