Nobody in the GOP is pushing him besides himself and a few talk show hosts. There's no "he's just being used as a token!" narrative to push because nobody significant is actually backing him.

Lots of angry and negative vibes out there. Violence only begets more violence. Look on the bright side: unlike Darren Wilson, the chokehold officer is (hopefully) facing serious consequences and additional litigation. There also hasn't been a national white supremacist fundraiser going for him and he's just using City and Union money that is set aside for this purpose.

Rand Paul has some thoughts about net neutrality, which is obviously a government plot to make you buy a Comcast subscription.quote:Net neutrality advocates fear that without FCC regulation, digital monopolies will develop, as big companies charge for Internet access. Paul said, "I don't like monopolies, but I also don't like monopolies where the government gives the monopoly. For example, in many cities, there's a virtual monopoly on cable." He pointed out, "I think if there's evidence that someone has a monopoly, let's take away government privilege that creates the monopoly." Monopolies are kind of like the Obamacare of net neutrality.
