While it's a funny sign, I know there are some who don't know, or even call them by other names, but there really is something called a Ding Dong.

Isn't the point of having different outlet shapes so that you can't plug in a circuit that's designed for a different voltage? I'm pretty sure that is not the correct voltage for that charger. edit: or whatever, I studied animation so I don't know poo poo about real world physics/electricity.

I'm pretty sure that is not the correct voltage for that charger. In this case, that charger is an auto-switching 110-240 so it's designed to work with a variety of voltages. They make different plugs that you can switch out without having to replace the whole charger. I don't know why they didn't just go out and get a plug converter, though.

I went looking for the story behind this and apparently their version of a mall Santa got fired, barricaded himself in the control room with two bottles of whiskey, and spent like an hour and a half getting that message to display. This quote was interesting though: http://dashperiod.tumblr.com/post/2323918799/gently caress-off-harrods-done-by-a-disgruntled-employee posted:“Honestly, I am disgusted, ” said Irene Rider, 59, from Gary, Indiana. “I was with my grandchildren. We had just gotten off the bus. I said ‘look everybody’ and pointed up to the lights – but you know what the lights said? They said f**k off. And that is not an appropriate message for a child. At least not at Christmas time.” The rest of the year, totally fine to tell kids to gently caress off.

Canada runs a program where kids can write letters to Santa and "Santa" (volunteers) writes back. Apparently one year, a kid went for some ridiculous present requests, and the volunteer who wrote back basically chewed him out for being a greedy little poo poo and it turned into a bit of a scandal.
