Juri is pretty drat popular so if any SF4 character winds up in SF5, it's gonna be her. She's shown up in a lot of spinoff stuff like Project X Zone and SFXT. She's also the first Korean SF character and South Koreans are a pretty big demographic when it comes to video games. Viper's got a fanbase too, but I think she's been overshadowed by Juri. Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Akuma are all pretty much givens. Cammy and Zangief are also really popular and highly likely. I would say Bison is a given too, but IIRC he's supposed to be dead after SF3. Then again, that didn't stop them from using Gouken or Gen in SF4. I really hope the game is mostly brand new characters ala SF3 though.

If it's like SF4, 4 of the (presumably) 16 starting characters could be new. The other 12 would most likely be the original SF2 cast, maybe someone switched out for Cammy, Akuma or even Juri. From the SF4 characters, I like Gouken and Poison the most. I don't think Gouken will return. I think, after Juri, Poison is the SF4 character most likely to return. Especially if they consider the the character popularity poll. If they do, I don't think we will see Rufus again. But then again 1/5th of the japanese voted for loving Ingrid, so they might not consider it.

Super cost $40 but it added so much content that you might as well consider it a whole new game after vanilla. The roster practically doubled in size. All subsequent add one were smaller but cost $15. All in all I think that's a drat good deal. Especially when Blazblue charged full retail for each new version. You can poo poo on Capcom for a lot of things, but when it comes to title updates for SF4, they did good.
