 He did another one, that's not crappy! Story behind this is that it's actually literally done on the steps of a convention and that it was also unplanned instead of a photoshoot. Quite impressive.

At what point does stuff like that not qualify as cosplay? It's a professional studio makeup job. We don't post pictures of studio costumes. Not trying to be a poo poo, just wondering. For the record I'm blown away by that makeup.

I think once professional costumers and make up artists start getting involved it ceases to be cosplay. It's a valid point, where does the hobby end and the commercialization start?
